Puff pastry is one of the great delights of the French kitchen. It is a light, flaky pastry that is buttery and rich without being heavy. Puff pastry is used in the making of Napoleons, palmiers, croissants, trunovers and many others.It's amazing how a simple component such as puff pastry can turn an ordinary dish into a show-stopping centerpiece.

This hands-on workshop is designed especially for kids between the ages of 6 -14 years old who are independent and with the drive to learn new things. Vacancies are limited as class size is kept small for personal attention and hands-on experience.



What you will learn in this workshop

cheese straws - a favourite with kids and adults alike
almond palmiers - little delicious almond tasting heart-shaped pastries
apricot danish pastries - impressive and easy to make for breakfast or brunch
chocolate walnut pastries - simple tomake and a must for every occasion
sausage rolls - the all-time favourite hot dogs wrapped in puff pastry

