Day 2 Post Cleanse

Recommended to continue with the orange juice and water for today. Some reports allow the intake of light vegetable soup as this is healthy and very light, as well as Rye wafers.

What I did was made some vegetable soup. As I had gone without solids for so many days, and since vegetables are healthy, I not only had the soup but the vegetables as well. Plus a glass of orange juice. Hmmm.... Not sure if that was the right choice as I felt bloated and full throughout the day. Till now, the stomach still feels uncomfortable.

As usual, ended the day off with the Tunguska Blast as well as the Vital PSP+. These are two natural supplements that I would not go without.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Distributed by Cyberwize, the Tunguska Blast has well-documented health benefits. Scientific studies continue in Siberia decades after the Tunguska Event. The Blast is all natural and meant for daily use.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Singapore – 16 February 2008—Alternative health products are rapidly emerging as cost effective and viable methods to avoid expensive prescription medications. While many have been dismissed as “snake oil,” The Tunguska Blast, distributed by Cyberwize in Singapore, has not only developed a large following but is based upon sound, well-documented research and scientific principles. Veronica Tan, Cyberwize distributor, says, “I joined Cyberwize because I was inspired by the Tunguska Event and the 3,000 case studies in Russia that verify its benefits upon botanicals in the Tunguska area. People, too, are experiencing amazing health benefits from results of the blast event.”
According to historical accounts, a cataclysmic event occurred in 1908 in Russia’s Tunguska River Valley that felled more than 200 million trees over 850 square miles. The blast registered as far away as London. Whether the event was caused by a meteor, asteroid or a comet is unknown, but seismology stations in Europe estimated that the blast had a force of 10-15 megatons at its epicenter. The result, Veronica explains, is that “herbs and other plants in the area grew back at four times the normal growth rate. Instead of creating a barren desert of destruction, the blast somehow created just the opposite: an incredibly fertile botanical garden. The effects of the blast event upon the ecosphere are still being studied by scientists.”
Cyberwize’s Tunguska Blast is a juice-like product made from the essential oils of ten botanicals in the original blast area. Users cite relief from chronic pain, insomnia, a stronger immune system, improved muscle and joint health, increased core nutrition, better energy and stamina, greater mental clarity and stress relief. Taken daily in a one-ounce dose, the Tunguska Blast is safe, all-natural, and, according to Veronica, provides health benefits that go beyond other natural or prescription preparations.
Veronica invites visitors to the Cyberwize site to examine the many Tunguska Blast products, study the precise history of the original blast and the science that supports its health values. “Our nutritionist,” says Veronica, “believes that the ingredients in the Tunguska Blast have benefits greater than any other nutritional system. We get these benefits only from Tunguska Blast because there is no one food we can eat that gives us these benefits.”
Day 1 Post Cleanse
Today is first day after the 10 day Master Cleanse program. It feels so wonderful not to have to take the salt water wash. That was the part that I had problems with.
Alternated between the lemonade drink and orange juice. Still not able to consume any solid foods yet as the body has gone 10 days without solid food, thus we have to get our body ready to accept solid food. The orange juice will do just that as in preparing the digestive system to digest and properly assimilate regular food.
Felt good to be able to have the orange juice. It felt so refreshing especially the naval oranges being sweet. Yummy, yummy, lip smacking good!
I developed a pain in my neck today which got worse as the day progressed. Felt like when you wake up with a stiff neck. Only this was on both sides of the neck. It was really bad. Had problems turning my head by the time it was night. Hoping it's just a cleanse symptom,
although it really hurts.
As usual, had my Tunguska Blast as well as Vital PSP+ before bed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A powerful event creates a powerful product
On the morning of June 30, 1908, seismic instruments in London registered huge earth tremors originating in the Tunguska region of Russia. As reports slowly began to arrive in Europe, scientists heard that a burst of light was witnessed more than 100 miles from the epicenter. The blast was calculated to have the power of 10 to 15 megatons…but without the contamination or crater an explosion would create.

From the ashes
Rather than making a desert of Tunguska, the burst of light made a kind of Garden of Eden, an oasis of fertility only partly explained by the nourishing influence of the felled forests.

Tunguska Blast is born
From among thousands of herbs, roots, and fruits reborn from the ashes of the mysterious Tunguska Event, scientists identified the ten most concentrated with therapeutic properties and natural nutritional benefits. CyberWize formulated these rich botanicals unique to Tunguska as a core nutritional technology, co-extracting essential oils and blending them to magnify their potency. This proprietary blend of ten rare plants has been enhanced for optimum response and benefit, delivered with a sensational flavor

Day 10 Master Cleanse

Yahoo!!!!! Today is the 10th day of the Master Cleanse program. And since I am on a 10 day program, today is thus my last day on the program. Have been smelling lots of food recently and they all smell good. Although I am not hungry, but the smells just have a way of getting me thinking of food.

I must say that I am extremely proud of myself for having the willpower to go through the full 10 days of this Master Cleanse program, also commonly known as the Lemonade Diet. This program has been around for the past 50 years and has helped many people to detoxify and clean their body. Once you are able to clear your body of the build up of toxins, you will be able to enjoy better health in general.

Although the Lemonade Diet, a detoxification diet, is not meant to be for weight loss, I am glad to say that I have managed to donate 3kg to the Universe. Had a meeting with some friends at MacDonalds in the afternoon. They had McSpicy Chicken and chocolate fudge sundae. Ummmm... The chocolate fudge sundae looked so yummy. Almost wanted to steal a bite but managed to resist the temptation. Went to the supermarket as well to get more oranges to tide me for the next 2 days at least. Immediately after coming off the lemonade diet, it is wise to continue drinking the lemonade drink as well as orange juice and lots of water. The orange juice is to get the body adjusted to digesting regular food again. Besides oranges, also bought a variety of vegetables to prepare the vegetable soup on Day 2 of the Post Cleanse period.

Can't wait to get off the Lemonade Diet and start on solid foods again. It really wasn't that bad over the past 10 days. The only difficult part for me was to drink the salt water wash. At times, it was difficult to gulp down the full 25 - 35 ozs of the salt water wash at one go. My stomach was bloated and that is also when I start belching even more.

OK, so for last night, again made 2 trips to the bathroom. Woke up and reluctantly consumed the salt water wash, after which as usual, made a few trips to the porcelain throne. Continued with the lemonade drink throughout the day and ended off with the laxative tea, Tunguska Blast and the Vital PSP+ ® which I had forgotten to take in the morning.

Felt quite energetic today. Not sure if it was the psychological aspect that this is going to be the last day on the diet which gave me the extra energy. However, yesterday was also the same. In fact, yesterday I managed to spend a few hours putting all my photos on my last trip to Australia in Feb 2007, more than one year already, into a proper photo album with descriptions as well. So relieved to have got this task out of the way finally! In fact, was worried that I would never get round to getting this done. This is truly an achievement for me!

Day 9 Master Cleanse

Hip hip hooray! What do you know? It's Day 9 today! One more day left of the Master Cleanse program. Can't help feeling great at having almost completed the challenge of what at first seemed impossible. I look forward to breaking the cleanse on Monday and eating solid food by middle of the week.

As usual, made two visits to the porcelain throne at night. Continued with the salt water wash this morning and again had some healthy elimination.

Today, took my Vital PSP+, a remarkable whole food supplement, which I had not taken since I started the cleansing program. If you are searching for an extraordinary and innovative product that may improve your overall health, your search is over. All-natural Vital PSP+ ®is a genuine breakthrough. With specially hydrolyzed PolySaccharidePeptides, Vital PSP+ ® may help improve digestion, clear out toxins, and normalize blood sugar. It's easy to take: Just dissolve one teaspoon in warm liquid and drink.

Carried on with the lemonade drink throughout the day. Continued belching which has been the standard since Day 1. As usual ended off with the laxative tea as well as the Tunguska Blast.

Can't wait for tomorrow. In fact, while shopping recently for the past few days, have been eyeing all the fresh fruits in the supermarket. They look so inviting and tempting. Seems that my body seems to know that they are good for me. Also starting to look for natural & healthy foods in order to adopt and maintain healthy eating habits after coming off the cleanse. Canned foods are out. Just think of something that was once alive and can last on the shelf for a year. Hmmm.... That should start you thinking. Fresh foods are the obvious choice, failing which comes frozen food.

Day 8 Master Cleanse

What do you know? It's Day 8! I've been on the Master Cleanse program for more than one week already!
Do I feel hungry? NO!
Do I feel tired? At times, when it's bedtime. : )
Do I feel grumpy? NO!

Why would you want to go through the Master Cleanse program?

The following internal master cleansing protocol (as provided by Stanley Burroughs) has been used most effectively by thousands of individuals wishing to rid their bodies of dangerous and even lethal toxins.

Individuals may find it most advantageous to pursue this cleanse followed by subsequent cleanses every 4 to 6 months.

Cleansing is basic for elimination of every kind of disease. As we eliminate and correct one disease, we correct them all, for every disease is corrected by the same process of cleansing and building positive good health.

At last the basic cause of disease is no longer a mystery. The basic cause is the habits of improper diet, inadequate exercise, negative mental attitudes, and lack of spiritual attunement, which combine to produce toxic conditions and malfunction of our bodies. The elimination of the cause of illness is the obvious and only way to healing and health. The elimination of the habits that cause illness is done through the positive approach of developing proper habits that cause health combined with corrective techniques that remove the ill effects of our former incorrect ways.

Disease, old age, and death are the result of accumulated poisons and congestion throughout the entire body. These toxins become crystallized and hardened, settling around the joints, in the muscles, and throughout the billions of cells all over the body.

Basically, ourselves create all of our diseases because we have never taken the time to discover the true foods meant for man’s use. We can create healthy bodies by using the right foods and eliminating highly toxic and mucus-forming foods.

As you learn more about nutrition you will become aware of the many foods that cause excess mucus in our bodies and then realize that this condition becomes the breeding ground for all kinds of germs.

We know that throughout nature everything moves in cycles, constantly changing, constantly cleaning out the old and building the new. Consequently, as a person reaches the “point of no return,” a point where his accumulations have reached the limit of what the body can tolerate, then a rapid change takes place or he dies. The cycle has come to the point where a good house cleaning must be started, and one of nature’s most effective methods is to start loosening and eliminating these poisons with bacteria action. As this action progresses, we become sick and feverish, large amounts of mucus are eliminated, diarrhea increases the discharge of waste material, and all of our resources go into action to clean us out as fast as possible to prevent these poisons from killing us. When this happens do not panic and resort to the unnatural action of drugs and antibiotics, which can only defeat natures laws. The drugs stop the natural changes by suppressing the cleansing action and store the poisons in the body to cause future problems.

If we know these danger signals and engage our abilities in their maximum effort, we can survive the ordeal and live a normal life until further accumulations trigger another life change. However, the logical procedure is to prevent these accumulations from forming in the first place— then we have no need for the discomfort of the severe cleansing process.

As the above conditions happen to more and more people at the same time an “epidemic” is set in motion. Very often an epidemic occurs after holiday feasting. Even the very best of foods in excess can create problems.

Deficiencies do exist, primarily because of improper diet and improper assimilation. These deficiencies also produce toxins because of the deterioration of the cells. So we still have only one disease, and with one simple process we can eliminate all so-called diseases of whatever name.

As we expel the disease producing toxins from our bodies, we must also restore the deficiencies. Thus, a cleansing diet must also include proper material for building as the waste material is eliminated. There is still one more factor involved to make the total process completely understandable. Since germs do not cause our disorders, there must be another logical reason for the triggering of an epidemic.

This is a matter of simple “vibration.” The better the physical and mental condition a person is in, the higher becomes his vibration, but as he steadily becomes clogged with more and more waste matter, his vibration goes constantly downward until he is ready and in need of a change. If he then comes in contact with one or more who have already started the cleansing process, he picks up the vibration of change and all his functions are triggered into the same action. This can happen to any size group of people in similar condition and then an epidemic is on its way. The person with a toxic free body and undisturbed mind is the one unaffected by the epidemic.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Did the salt water wash in the morning as usual. And as usual, the runs to the toilet followed soon after. Fortunately that stopped in time for me to go out to get some errands done. Didn't forget to bring along my lemonade drink with me to have when I feel hungry/thirsty.
Made a trip to the supermarket to get more lemons and limes. At the same time, bought some oranges to standby for the immediate days following the cleansing program. During those days, need to drink orange juice as the orange juice prepares the digestive system to properly digest and assimilate regular food.
Finished the day with the laxative tea and the usual Tunguska Blast.
Day 7 Master Cleanse
Well, it's the end of the 7th day today. Have already gone for 7 days without solid food. Imagine if anyone had said such a thing to me before, I would have told them that they must be crazy. Well, guess I must be somewhat crazy to have started on this master cleanse program but I don't regret it.
The morning started off with a number of trips to the porcelain throne. Took the salt water wash and continued going to the restroom even more. Continued with the lemonade drink throughout the day.
Had a networking session in the evening at an Italian alfresco restaurant. Cozy place in Lau Pa Sat along Shenton Way, the financial district. Was seated next to someone who had some some Italian bread topped with mushrooms which looked very healthy. Had a good time with old and new friends and acquaintances.
Left the networking session early as I had to adjourn to the wake of my first cousin. At the wake, as usual, there were peanuts and melon seeds. I used to love munching on the peanuts and not be able to stop. However, today, just looked at the beautiful nuts staring at me and had to forgo them. Just had to keep my hands and itching fingers to my sides and clutch the bottle of lemonade tightly. : (
As usual, ended the day by taking the laxative tea as well as the Tunguska Blast, or also lovingly known as T Blast.
Such a beautiful feeling to know that there are only 3 days left of the lemonade program. And that I have already completed 70% of the program.
Day 6 Master Cleanse
I can't imagine this is already Day 6 of the cleansing program and I have already hit the half-way mark. Just another 4 more days to go..... Hip hip hooray!
No trips to the porcelain throne last night. Or was it because I woke up early this morning? Had to attend a Business Networking International breakfast meeting in the morning. Thus, did not have the salt water wash. Instead just took a cup of laxative tea in the morning. That took me to the throne twice before leaving the house.
It was so fortunate that it was an uneventful journey to the meeting place. And even more fortunate that the meeting ended slightly early as I had to rush to 'you -know-where' at least three times in the next twenty minutes or so. Instead of having the normal breakfast, made do with my caffeine-free peppermint tea. Again, did not feel hungry looking at other people eating. That was good as I was afraid that it would be too easy to give up.
In total, made another 3 trips to the porcelain throne. In fact, did not expect to visit the throne so many times after taking the laxative tea. Thought that the salt water wash was more powerful for this kind of effect. Guess I was wrong.
Had an appointment at Starbucks in the evening. Spent a few hours there but did not purchase anything. Just had our own lemonade drink. Came home & had the laxative tea as well as the usual dose of Tunguska Blast.
I've mentioned about consuming Tunguska Blast in the past few days. Let me give an brief overview of what Tunguska means and what's so special about Tunguska.
Tun.gus.ka:-
1. a valley bordered by three tributaries of the Yenisei River in Siberia;
2. identified by scientists as the location of a mysterious event in 1908;
3. subject of a prominent theory that a near impact of an asteroid caused a concussion blast in the atmosphere;
4. site of an event of such force that the landscape of the region was permanently and remarkably changed.
What's so special about Tunguska? There was a mysterious event that happened almost 100 years ago in 1908.
And what exactly happened there?
The Miracle of Tunguska
After nearly a century of study and research, scientists still can’t explain precisely what occurred deep in the Siberian wilderness of Tunguska, Russia. Some scientists have suggested a meteor strike, but if so, it was the largest since the pre-history of the earth, and it left no crater. Some have theorized a comet or the airburst of a meteor 5 or 6 miles above the earth, which still does not account for the unexpected and unexplainable botanical benefits to the area.
This much has been proven: A cataclysmic event more dramatic than any since the biblical Flood felled more than 200 million trees over 850 square miles. And something about the event had the effect of impregnating the soil with a dense organic infusion resulting in “miracle harvests” of the herbs, roots, and other plants grown in that region.
The first anyone outside Russia knew about Tunguska was on the morning of June 30, 1908, when seismic instruments in London registered huge earth tremors originating in the Tunguska region.
As reports slowly began to arrive in Europe, scientists heard that a burst of light was witnessed more than 100 miles from the epicenter. The blast was calculated to have the power of 10 to 15 megatons…but without the contamination or crater an explosion would create. Quite the opposite was true: Rather than making a desert of Tunguska, the burst of light made a kind of Garden of Eden, an oasis of fertility only partly explained by the nourishing influence of the felled forests.
The Result
Herbs and other plants cultivated in the subarctic conditions of Tunguska grow at four times the rate of similar species harvested in more temperate climes. And that’s not the only difference: Science is still unraveling the full nutritional significance of the Tunguska Effect.
Day 5 Master Cleanse
Hmmm... Looks like 2x a night is the norm.
Today is Day 5 of the Master Cleanse program. Already mid-way through the program.
An uneventful day today. Just realised that the pain in my right palm was no longer there. Continued with the cleansing program today and had sugar cane juice in the evening.
Overall, everything running smoothly. Just that the neck feels a little stiff today. Not that it's affecting any other areas.
Consumed the laxative tea at night as well as my usual dose of the dietary supplement Tunguska Blast. Yummy yummy.
Monday, March 17, 2008
Day 4 Master Cleanse
Last nite, again made two visits to the porcelain throne. Other than that, felt great upon waking up this morning.
The Master Cleanse is a 10-, 20-, 30- or even 40-day commitment to drink a "lemonade" mix (with no solid food) to totally de-toxify the body.
WOW! Today is Day 4 already. Weighed in today with myself having donated 2kg to the universe. Boy! Am I so delighted to see this !!! : ) This is easier than I thought. Except for the part on having to run to the porcelain throne. For that, you have to be sure you are somewhere where you are able to have quick access to the throne. If not, be prepared to bring a change of clothings. This 'running' will normally be over in approximately 2 hours after the salt water flush.
In fact, the cleanse can start with a herbal laxative tea both morning and evening. However, a salt water wash is advised to clean out the intestinal tract. These stops are necessary to remove the toxins loosened by the lemon juice cleanse.
Today, after the salt water wash, visited the porcelain throne just four times. This is another improvement over yesterday.
As this is a cleansing diet, the more you can assist Nature to eliminate poisons, the better. IF YOUR SYSTEM FEELS UPSET, IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT HAVING SUFFICIENT ELIMINATION. Avoid this possibility by following the directions completely. Above all, be sure you have two, three, or more movements a day. This may seem unnecessary not eating solid food, but it is Nature’s way of eliminating the waste it has loosened from the various cells and organs in the body.
Of course, if there is some problem where you may not have convenient access to the porcelain throne, suggest you replace the salt water wash with the laxative tea. This will do as well.
Went out in the evening and managed to get pure sugar cane juice. Had brought the lemon juice as well as cayenne pepper with me which I just added to the sugar cane juice. This was a refreshing change.
Again, there was food served just before our meeting at Cyberwize Inc. but could just go through the whole evening without touching the food. Neither was my mouth watering for the great smelling curry puffs.
Ended off the day with a cup of laxative tea as well as Tunguska Blast.
Bedtime ......
Sunday, March 16, 2008
Day 3 Master Cleanse
Woke up twice during the night to sit on the porcelain throne. No disasters there...
Consumed the salt water flush in the morning & had to run to the porcelain throne a minimum of six times within the next two hours. Well, at least that is an improvement of almost 50% over yesterday.
Had a cup of peppermint tea today. Took it 'neat' and it was a delightful change. The peppermint tea may be used occasionally during this diet as a pleasant change and to assist further in the cleansing. Its chlorophyll helps as a purifier, neutralizing many mouth and body odors that are released during the cleansing period
Went out for the official opening of Beauty Hope, an outlet providing facial & massage. There was food provided but somehow I did not have the yearning to eat. Hmmm... That's a change from before. Enjoyed a complimentary eye treatment before going to purchase ink cartridge for the printer. Later in the evening, had to go out and get more lemons & limes. No tiredness or dizzy feeling as has been described by some people after taking the lemonade diet.
Again took my daily dose of Tunguska Blast which has helped myself and many of my partners not only improve our immune system but give us more energy, reduce our stress level as well as give us better quality sleep. Consumed the laxative tea before bed as required.
Not too bad for Day 3. Thought that today would be most difficult as the body would have gone for 2 - 3 days without solid food and that it would be craving for such. Fortunately, the day went on without a hitch. Seems like I've almost reached 1/3 of the cleansing program. Can't wait to see the benefits of the cleansing program take place.
Saturday, March 15, 2008
Day 2 Master Cleanse
Forgot to mention that I had taken my usual dose of my dietary supplement Tunguska Blast last night before sleeping. Decided to carry on with that and not stop since that is all natural and will just give me more benefits. Slept like a log so much so that I woke up with cramps in my legs. Experienced the 'runs' once last night.
Woke up this morning feeling great! Took the salt water flush and nothing happened till about 45 minutes later. Started running to the toilet every few minutes. A piece of advice:- make sure you're close to the toilet. Imagine when you have a high tide, what happens? Only this time round, the tide is from the back & there's no door to stop it from getting out. Aargh....
The afternoon passed uneventfully. Except for the fact that I was working on the computer & somehow a pain seemed to develop in my right palm. Could it be the posture or could it be due to the lemonade program?
Went out in the evening to get more maple syrup.
Took the laxative tea and my usual dose of Tunguska Blast before sleeping.
Bedtime...............
Day 1 Master Cleanse
Today is Day 1 of the 10-day Master Cleanse Diet. This is the first time I'm trying out this "lemonade" mix (with no solid food) to totally de-toxify the body. I decided to go for it after hearing the wonderful testimonial by my friend who introduced it to me as well as reading up on the many benefits that it has.
Day 1
Took the salt water flush soon after waking and within an hour, had visited the throne 3 x. Hmmm.... it's doing what it should, i.e. washing the entire digestive system. Also found myself burping a lot.
Found myself taking too much time to squeeze the lemons manually. Resorted to using the juicing machine to make my job easier. This really helped to save time as well as eliminate wastages. With lemons costing what they do now, it's imperative to be able to squeeze as much juice out of them as possible.
Drank the lemonade mixture throughout the day. Felt a little odd not being able to eat solid foods. Just kept myself busy to eradicate any thoughts of eating. Was slightly sleepy in the afternoon, but just kept on working and soon forgot about food.
So far, have managed to carry on with just the lemonade mixture. Walked past some coffee shops earlier in the evening and had wonderful smells of cooked food. However, that was manageable and there were no hunger pangs.
Drank a laxative tea just before sleeping as this is also part of the routine.
It feels like such a long day. Now to look forward for Day 2.
The Master Cleanse
It's been a long, long time since I last posted to this blog. Time just seems to zoom past and before you know it, a quarter of the year will be gone soon.
Have just come across the The Master Cleanse, a program that has been used most effectively by thousands of individuals wishing to rid their bodies of dangerous and even lethal toxins. Here is a brief:-
At last the basic cause of disease is no longer a mystery. The basic cause is the habits of improper diet, inadequate exercise, negative mental attitudes, and lack of spiritual attunement, which combine to produce toxic conditions and malfunction of our bodies. The elimination of the cause of illness is the obvious and only way to healing and health. The elimination of the habits that cause illness is done through the positive approach of developing proper habits that cause health combined with corrective techniques that remove the ill effects of our former incorrect ways.
Disease, old age, and death are the result of accumulated poisons and congestion throughout the entire body. These toxins become crystallized and hardened, settling around the joints, in the muscles, and throughout the billions of cells all over the body.
We spend a good portion of our lives accumulating these diseases and we spend the rest of our lives attempting to get rid of them— or die in the effort!
Basically, ourselves create all of our diseases because we have never taken the time to discover the true foods meant for man’s use. We can create healthy bodies by using the right foods and eliminating highly toxic and mucus-forming foods.
To be complete, a healing system must be able to cover the entire field of human experiences—
physically, mentally, and spiritually.
THE ORIGIN OF THE LEMON JUICE DIET
The lemonade diet, about to be described, has successfully and consistently demonstrated its eliminative and building ability. It may be used with complete safety for every known type of disease.
THE MASTER CLEANSE OR LEMONADE DIET
Purpose:
? ? To dissolve and eliminate toxins and congestion that have formed in any part of the body.
? ? To cleanse the kidneys and the digestive system.
? ? To purify the glands and cells throughout the entire body.
? ? To eliminate all unusable waste and hardened material in the joints and muscles.
? ? To relieve pressure and irritation in the nerves, arteries, and blood vessels.
? ? To build a healthy blood stream.
? ? To keep youth and elasticity regardless of our years.
WHEN TO USE IT?
? ? When sickness has developed— for all acute and chronic conditions.
? ? When the digestive system needs a rest and a cleansing.
? ? When overweight has become a problem.
? ? When better assimilation and building of body tissue is needed.
AND HOW OFTEN?
Follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days or more— up to 40 days and beyond may be safely followed for extremely serious cases. The diet has all the nutrition needed during this time. Three to four times a year will do wonders for keeping the body in a normal healthy condition. The diet may be undertaken more frequently for serious conditions.
HOW TO MAKE IT?
2 Tablespoons lemon or limejuice (approx. ½ lemon)
2 Tablespoons genuine maple syrup (Not maple flavored sugar syrup)
1/10 Teaspoon cayenne pepper (red pepper) or to taste
8 oz water, room temperature
Combine the juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper in a 10 oz glass jar w/lid and fill with the water.
Shake it up and drink. (Cold water may be used if preferred.)
Use fresh (organic) lemons or limes only, never canned lemon or limejuice nor frozen lemonade or frozen juice.
For those of you who want the actual script of The Master Cleanse, do email me at home_kitchen_creations@hotmail.com and I shall gladly share it with you.
Chinese New Year 2008
WOW!!! Time really flies & it's already 2 weeks into 2008.
2007 has come & gone in the blink of an eye. It's time now to get started with Chinese New Year preparations which falls on February 7th & 8th this year. Also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, the festival normally starts on the first day of the first lunar month and ends on the 15th day.
Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese. The Chinese New Year celebrations are marked by visits to kin, relatives and friends, a practice known as "new-year visits". New clothings are usually worn to signify a new year. The colour red is liberally used in all decorations. Red packets or hong bao are given to juniors and children by the married and elders.
The red packets always contain money, usually varying from a couple of dollars to several hundred. The amount of money in the red packets should be of even numbers, as odd numbers are associated with cash given during funerals. Since the number 4 is considered bad luck, because the word for four is a homophone for death, money in the red envelopes never adds up to $4. However, the number 8 is considered lucky (for its homophone for "wealth"), and $8 is commonly found in the red envelopes. Sometimes chocolate coins are found in the red packets.
Chinese New Year decorations have started sprouting up in shopping centres and around town. Some popular floral decorations include:
Floral Decor Meaning
Plum blossom symbolizes luck
Kumquat symbolizes prosperity
Narcissus symbolizes prosperity
Chrysanthemum symbolizes longevity
Bamboo A plant used for any time of year
Sunflower means to have a good year
Many shops have begun selling New Year products. Normally open-air markets are set up especially for vendors to sell New Year-related products. These shops feature floral products, toys, clothings, gifts for new year visitations as well as decor for the homes. Many also shop for the perfect plum tree as decoration just like how Chistmas trees are much sought after for Chirtmas.
It is important to have the house completely clean from top to bottom before New Year's Day for good luck in the coming year. Thus the weeks leading up to the actual day will see many people doing spring cleaning, throwing out the old and at the same time, buying new things to usher in the New Year.
Of course, Chinese New Year will not be the same without the various festive goodies that are offered to those who go on "new year visits". Home Kitchen Creations have come up with a few popular, top-selling festive goodies to allow everyone to celebrate in style.
The Giant 80th Birthday Cake
WOW! Was really busy the previous week preparing the pistachio gateaux cake for a close relative who was celebrating her 80th birthday. There were altogether approximately 160 guests, so the cake had to be sufficient to feed everyone, at least a small piece, right?
Birthday was on National Day, same day as Singapore, but difference in the year. : ) Dinner celebration was on the 8th of Aug, Wed.
Day 1
As it was going to be a pistachio cake, started preparing the pistachio nuts on Mon, toasting them to bring out the flavour & grinding them.
Day 2
Tues, made 10 pistachio sponge cakes of 8 inch square, 2 at a time, 1 in each oven. Fortunately I have 2 ovens. Phew! Sliced each cake into 3 to prepare for the filling. Only need 9 cakes, cos fitting it into a square of 3 cakes per side.
Day 3 (part 1)
Then D Day came on Wed. Prepared the pastry cream using dairy cream which has a better taste than non-dairy cream. Used pistachio paste to give an original pistachio flavour as well. Spread the cream on all the cake surfaces & placed them into boxes.
Day 3 (part 2)
Transported 9 cakes to the venue and start arranging the 9 cakes into ONE big square cake. Spread more cream to cover all the cake well & decorated with colourful marshmallows & pistachio nuts. See picture above.
Well, for those of you who are wondering if everyone got a piece of the cake, YES, they did. The restaurant staff were pretty good in their 'division' and there was even some leftovers which went like hot cakes.
6.
a dark brown color.
–adjective
7.
made, flavored, or covered with chocolate: chocolate cake; chocolate ice cream.
8.
having the color of chocolate; dark-brown.
A delicious, mouth-watering piece of sweetened chocolate is a treat that tempts everyone. Not many people can resist chocolate.
Mention the word chocolate and we dream of melt-in-the-mouth chocolate, chocolate nut clusters, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate truffle, chocolate candy, chocolate fountain, fruits dipped in chocolate and tons more. Whatever it is, chocolate is irresistable to chocoholics, especially good quality chocolate.
Consider chocolate for a quick energy pick up. After heavy exercises and a tough workout, your body is crying out for nutrition. An easy, quick and reasonably priced way of fulfilling this need is to simply savor a piece of chocolate.
How do you show someone you love them? Do you buy them expensive gifts? Spend quality time together? Make personal sacrifices just to see them smile? Dedicate a song to them? Write a love letter or note of encouragement? Become their cheerleader? Those are wonderful things to do but have you thought about giving them chocolate?
Coming up, an easy and simple way of enjoying chocolate that you can make yourself or have a fun time doing with your kids.
Strawberry Harmony
Tried the same butter cake recipe which was used for the Coffee Harmony cake yesterday, but this time using strawberry concentrate flavour. Cake turned out moist & soft as usual but strawberry taste was very mild. Need to test it out again for a better strawberry flavour.
Tango with Mango workshop
The Tango with Mango workshop was held on Saturday. Instead of just learning how to make the cheesecake, agar agar and muffin, there was a special request to learn how to make the mango cream cake. Thus, those who attended the last workshop had a 'bonus'.
The kids, little chefs, had fun and couldn't wait to try their creations at the end of the workshop.
Strawberry D'Lite
Was terribly busy over the last few days attending a fun-filled mixer as well as fulfilling a last-minute order for a birthday cake & preparing for the Tango with Mango workshop today.
Made a Strawberry D'Lite for the birthday cake as can be seen. Comment:- was good, not so sweet but would have been better if cake was more 'spongey'. Almost half the cake gone in less than an hour.
Coffee Harmony
Coffee Harmony
Another light & moist butter cake that seems like the traditional marble cake except that this is made with coffee flavour, just like the one used to make 'Papa Roti'. Imagine the coffee aroma & exquisite fragrance of coffee. Mmmmm............
Pineapple Tarts
Pineapple Tarts - Dolly's Glory
Made more tarts yesterday to fulfil some orders. Many people like them just like my brother who is so fussy that he only buys tarts from Glory. Until he came across our special tarts which according to him "tastes as good as Glory". At the same time, we use lots of pineapple jam so much so that the tarts are pretty 'high' & thus earned the nickname Dolly's Glory - as huge as Dolly's, as good as Glory's.....
Feel like biting into those yummy tarts? : )
Rainbow Heaven
Rainbow Heaven
Tried this simple butter cake that was not only colourful but tasted pretty good as well.
Since it has three colours, and according to comments by tasters that it was moist and soft and great tasting, we named it Rainbow Heaven. : )
Durian D'Lite
Durian D'Lite - sponge cake with durian cream. Both cake & cream made use of actual durian flesh that was pureed.
Tried doing this first time last weekend & made 2 small heart-shaped cakes. Since mum needed a cake urgently for a friend whose daughter's birthday was just around the corner, one of the cakes became the birthday gift.
Not too sure how to decorate the cake & tried 2 ways as can be seen from the pictures - small little colourful hearts which made a beautiful gift & the other was decorated with chocolate decor.
Definitely the cake was a pleasant change from those that you see in the cake shops.
Blueberry D'lite
Blueberry D'lite - beautifully light chocolate sponge cake filled with blueberry filling & topping.
Made this for 2 separate occassions - a) birthday and b)welcoming a japanese couple who had just arrived Singapore for a holiday.
Birthday cake was a 7" square cake which was shared by 6 adults after dinner. Most of them had 2 servings. And the balance was brought back by the birthday girl for breakfast.
Comments:- Was so good and not so sweet that must have 2 helpings.
Welcome cake was a 5" heart shape cake for the japanese couple. They had it after lunch and for tea as well.
Comments:- Not so sweet and tastes very delicious.
How about trying one? : )
Strawberry D'Lite with jelly beans
Strawberry D'Lite - a sponge cake with strawberry cream, decorated with colourful jelly beans for a 11 year old birthday boy whose birthday fell on May 27.
Feedback:- not so creamy & not so sweet. So good that the family of 3, who seldom eat cakes, finished it in 2 days.
